Hi, I'm Taufik
Born in Palabuhanratu, West Java, I moved to Bali in 2015 and have spent every year since surfing the breaks of Uluwatu. Surf With Tee is a surf school rooted in Uluwatu, Bali — built on good vibes, personal attention, and a genuine love for sharing the ocean with people from all over the world.
Whether it's your very first wave or you're looking to level up your technique, I tailor every session to you. Our instructors are warm, kind and always smiling — we'll always let you know upfront who your teacher will be, and can't wait to meet you in the water.

QHow much do surf lessons in Bali cost?
Single sessions start at IDR 400,000 per person for a group lesson (approx. USD 25), IDR 500,000 for semi-private, and IDR 700,000 for a 1-on-1 private lesson. 3-day camps start from IDR 1,900,000. All prices include surfboard, rashguard, zinc, and locker.
QDo I need experience to book a lesson?
Not at all. Surf With Tee welcomes complete beginners through to advanced surfers. Taufik tailors every session to your current level — if you've never stood on a board, that's exactly where we start.
QWhat's included in the lesson price?
All sessions include your surfboard, rashguard, zinc/sunscreen, and a locker. A professional photo and video add-on is available for an additional IDR 300,000.
QWhere exactly are sessions held?
Sessions run at Balangan Beach, one of Uluwatu's most consistent breaks, located at Jl. Pantai Balangan 315, Jimbaran, South Bali. Taufik knows every wave in the area and selects the best spot for your level on the day.
QWhat's the best time of year to surf in Uluwatu?
Uluwatu and Balangan have waves year-round. The dry season (April–October) brings the most consistent swells with offshore winds. The wet season (November–March) still offers great surf, especially for beginners on smaller days. Taufik monitors conditions daily and will always put you in the right spot.
QAre lessons suitable for children?
Yes. Taufik regularly teaches children and families. The calm, shallow sections of Balangan Beach are ideal for young beginners. Just mention the ages of your group when you book and Taufik will plan accordingly.
